We are excited to share that Dr. Shabnam Mohammadshahi, a key member of our team, attended the 77th Annual Meeting of the American Physical Society (APS) Division of Fluid Dynamics, held in Salt Lake City, Utah, this past semester. The conference is a prominent event in the field of fluid dynamics, bringing together leading researchers and practitioners to discuss the latest developments and breakthroughs.
Dr. Mohammadshahi's participation in this year’s meeting highlights her ongoing commitment to advancing our understanding of experimental fluid dynamics. She contributed to discussions that centered on the cutting-edge research and experimental techniques that are pushing the boundaries of what we know about fluid behavior in various environments.
As part of the meeting, Dr. Mohammadshahi attended sessions such as Session J29.4, where experts presented findings that could influence future applications in aerospace, energy, and environmental systems. These types of conferences are invaluable in providing researchers with new insights and fostering collaboration across institutions and industries. Dr. Mohammadshahi’s experience at this event will surely contribute to the continued success of our department’s research initiatives.
We are proud to have her represent our work at such an esteemed gathering of fluid dynamics professionals, and we look forward to seeing the innovations and collaborations that stem from this experience.
