"We showed that the frequency of oscillation for subsonic oscillating jet linearly increased with Reynolds number, and the maximum deflection angle was 90 degrees. However, the frequency of supersonic oscillating jet was independent of NPR values (NPR varied from 4 to 16). The POD analysis revealed a detailed categorization of flow structures, distinguishing symmetric and antisymmetric modes, each associated with distinct flow dynamics. Symmetric modes captured major coherent features such as shear mixing layers and recirculation regions, while antisymmetric modes emphasized vortex dynamics, oscillations, and the interaction of shocks with surrounding structures."
